What is Uduk Hope Inc?
Uduk Hope Inc. is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization based in Rochester, New York. We recognize the challenges that people are facing in South Sudan and Ethiopia’s refugee camps and aim to be the difference makers. Our primary focus is to support the Uduk refugee communities by serving in the areas of education, faith, and community development. Uduk Hope Inc., as a 501(c)3, is dedicated to seeing tangible change that can create the foundation for a better tomorrow for the Uduk people and those living with them in refugee camps. Our professional staff in the United States and in Doro Refugee Camp are dedicated to allocating our resources to facilitate this work. (See our initiatives).
More than 20 years of Civil War in Sudan took the lives of millions of people and left millions more displaced. Today the Uduk people are finding it harder and harder to see a future for themselves and for their children. Still displaced, the Uduk people continue to face the inadequacies of living in refugee camps, the lack of education, poor health services, and the lack of access to basic needs. Uduk Hope Inc. was established to mitigate some of these challenges by focusing on three pillars: Education, Faith, and Community Development. Please visit Our Initiatives page for more information on ways to help.
We exist to address the challenges faced by the Uduk people in refugee camps through initiatives that focus on education, faith, and community development.
